Our team member will be there to pick you up at Tribhuvan international airport and escort you to your accommodation on the very first day. In the remaining time, you can stroll around the streets of Basantapur, Thamel, and some other places. You will be provided with the best hospitality along with a delicious Nepali cuisine dinner. You will be staying overnight in Kathmandu.

The valley becomes steeper and narrower as the vegetation alternates to pine forests and rhododendron. Out from the village we come across a large suspension bridge and from here the route progresses steeply as the river tumbles through the maze of large boulders. Following the river valley in the afternoon we gradually ascend to Dharapani (1890m) and end our trek to get some rest.

From Dharapani you will be heading to one of the rugged venture to the Koto. The road can be difficult for the passengers but on the way you will be able to witness amazing sights. For an acclimatization day, we spend our time at Phu because of the high altitude. You can relish the beauty of alleyways which are tiny or even trek to Him lung Himal base camp. The day is well spend at Phu as you get to know villager and their daily chores like using mustard seed into a paste for oil. If you are planning to hike up to the Him lung then you will see the blue herd sheep which is ascending to the cliffs.

Out of Phu, we head to the Junam Goth which is surrounded by the beauty of the forests. Trekking in this region you will be into the forests of the juniper trees. We will arrive at Junam Goth in about 5 to 6 hrs of walking from Phu.

Descending to the bridge across the cleft at Phu Khola, we then take a steep and lengthy climb downhill to the Naar. We have to climb over 600m to the top, since the bridge is at 3490m. The remarkable sight of the Pisang Peak to the south can be seen. The terrain is less steep after you arrive at the Naar Gate and the scenes of the large chorten can be observed in the surroundings. It takes about 5 hrs to reach Naar from Junam Goth. People make living by weaving and agriculture at Naar

Kangla Phedi has to be the highest point of our trek for today as it is located on an old moraine 4700m. This area is above the tree line and you can get the sight of the beautiful Kanguru to the east and the Pisang Peak. The walk takes about 2 hours and mostly people leave exploring Naar.

Back with the known Annapurna Circuit, you will head toward the Kang La Pass. This is not a challenging pass however the altitude shall be felt. Amazing sights of the Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and Gangapurna can be seen. Descending you will arrive for lunch and proceed to trek at Ngawal. Ngawal is an ancient village which is located on the upper Pisang route of the Annapurna Circuit.

From Ngawal, we head to Koto as Koto is the place for the lonely hamlets and accommodation. On the trail, the path is engraved with the splendid sights to accompany us from the Ngawal.

From Koto Tal descend back to the journey as Koto connects as a junction between the Nar Phu khola and the Marshyangdi Khola. We head back and get the scenic sight of the amazing rivers on the way and gradually appreciate the nature.

Good to Know

Experience Required:

One doesn’t need any previous experience as long as s/he is fit and healthy.

Pre-Trip Meeting:

Within the very first two days, the meeting will be held. It is required for fixing and completing all sorts of preparations and its assurance before actually heading off for the whole big adventure,

Equipment Check List:

Do not forget to check the following equipment which will be necessary and do not forget to maintain the wait of them below 20 kg:

Head:-

For the head protection: Sun hat or scarf - Light balaclava or warm fleece hat - Sunglasses with UV protection.

Lower Body: -

Under Garments - Hiking shorts - Lightweight cotton long pants - Light weight hiking thermal bottoms - Fleece or wool pants – Waterproof trekking trousers -

Feet: - lightweight thin inner socks - Thick, warm wool hiking socks - Hiking boots with spare laces - Camp shoes – Gaiters (optional)

Upper Body:-

As for the upper body’s shirts – Hiking and light weight thermal tops - Fleece jacket or pullover - Fleece Wind-Stopper jacket (optional) - Waterproof shell jacket - Down vest and/or jacket - Base layer shirts - Warm jacket (down)*

Hands: - gloves that are Lightweight - Heavyweight gloves or mittens with a waterproof shell outer.

Accessories:-

Sleeping bag (comfort rated –10ºC)*- Sleeping bag liner - Head torch with spare bulbs and batteries - Small pad or combination.

Trekking Bags: - Large bag for keeping items dry inside trek bag, Daypack 250 to 30litres. - Thermarest sleeping pad - Water bottles - Water purification tablets.

Basic First Aid Kit: - Antiseptic cream, throat lozenges, diarrhoea treatment (Imodium), altitude (Diamox), painkillers, plasters and blister treatment, insect repellent, and re-hydration salts (Dioralite). Glucose tablets and multi-vitamin tablets are also a good idea.

Toiletries:- 1 medium sized quick drying towel - Tooth brush/paste - Multipurpose soap - Deodorants - Nail clippers - Face and body moisturizer - Feminine products - Small mirror - Wet wipes - toilet roll/Tissue Extras - Antibacterial hand wash

A typical day:

A typical day will begin with a lovely sunrise which you can enjoy if you choose to wake up early. However, the waking time depends upon the day’s trekking hours as well. You gain some energy through the breakfast and then get yourself up with your bags for the upcoming journey in the middle of which, we will be pausing and enjoying our lunch. Then again you head for some hours and finally reach the accommodation you marked for the day where you enjoy the hot and warm dinner specially prepared for you.

Accommodation:

Since, the area is remote and recently opened, lodging options are not very much spread out, so some adjustment is required. The bathroom, fireplace and shower facilities are in a need to be shared.

Insurance:

We do not compromise in anyway in the aspect of medical, emergency evacuation and trip cancellation insurances which are a must according to the given terms and conditions in our insurance policy.

Altitude Sickness:

The higher you go, the higher the risk of altitude sickness is. So we prepare ourselves up with some light exercises, rest and even some medicines. If someone gets seriously affected, then they are evacuated as quickly as possible.

Meals:

As per your taste’s suiting, there will be three meals three times a day, provided on a complete board basis as per the facilities in the area, every day.
