4 day Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek begins and ends in Annapurna, Pokhara. For those not in Pokhara, our team can arrange transportation from Kathmandu or other locations, though this will incease the package cost. The trek starts with an hour-long drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the trek starting point. Over four days, the trail traverses dense forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron, and passes through several villages.
On the first day, the trek ascends to Tikhedhunga (1,480 m) with a gentle walk through terraces, waterfalls, and rivers. The second day involves a challenging climb to Ghorepani (2,874 m), including a lengthy staircase and passing through Ulleri (2,070 m) and Nangethanti (2,510 m). The highlight of the trek occurs on the third day with a steep hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for panoramic sunrise views of the western Himalayas, followed by a descent to Tadapani (2,630 m) for an overnight stay. The final day includes a walk to Ghandruk village and then to Kimche (1,550 m), where the trek concludes with a drive back to Pokhara.
