Reaching the base of the final steep summit cone, we gather our strength and resolve for the ultimate push to the top. Depending on the assessment of our experienced climbing leader, we may utilize a fixed rope for added safety and support. This decision ensures that we have the necessary precautions in place to overcome any challenges that may arise.

After a few hours of walking, we begin our gradual descent, allowing gravity to guide us along the trail. The path winds through diverse landscapes, offering glimpses of cascading waterfalls, meandering rivers, and blooming flora.

Our destination for the day is the welcoming village of Kothe. After approximately four hours of trekking, we arrive at this peaceful settlement nestled amidst nature's embrace. Kothe provides a perfect respite for tired trekkers, offering a chance to relax and recharge.

Upon reaching Kothe, we settle into a comfortable teahouse, where we can unwind and rejuvenate. The teahouse provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, inviting us to share stories and connect with fellow trekkers. Engaging in friendly conversations and exchanging experiences adds to the sense of camaraderie that is often fostered during such expeditions.

As the day draws to a close, we retire to our cozy accommodations in Kothe, ready to replenish our energy for the days ahead. Experience and Insurance Required for Mera Peak Climb

The climber should have a good level of fitness and experience in mountain walking for the Mera Peak Climbing. These tend to be longer treks with some more difficult days, some of which may involve walking at increased altitudes and more difficult terrain. Occasionally, there may be a long day when negotiating the more challenging sections such as a mountain pass or viewing peak. Altitude may range up to 5000 meters.

Insurance: Nepal Nomad's booking terms & conditions of joining Mera Peak Climbing include that you must be fully insured with medical, and emergency rescue evacuations including trip cancellation insurance which should cover over 3000m to 6000m.

Pre-Trip Meeting before Mera Peak Climbing

As we tend to conduct meetings on every trip. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss more details about the climbing and also the opportunity to ask any questions related to the trip. This meeting is also conducted to introduce the climbing guide and other crew members.

A typical day in the Mera Peak trek and climb adventure

Your Sherpa will serve you morning tea at 6.30 am. After having Breakfast, tight up against your bag pack and get ready for today's fantastic trekking hiking for the next three to four hours then we shall stop for an hour along the way for a well-prepared hot lunch. Later, walk another three hours or so before you stop for the overnight.

Accommodation and meals in Mera Peak Climbing

While at the Mera Peak Climbing, there will be only a limited number of lodges. Sometimes you may have to share a washroom and sometimes you may also not have a shower. Even though the lodges cannot provide you with all the facilities but they can give you the essence of how the mountain lifestyle is in Himalayan regions.

Meals: On Mera Peak Climbing, three meals on a full-board basis will be provided. Every day dinner and breakfast will be placed and taken in the same lodge you spend overnight but Lunch will be taken on your way to the next village. Farewell, dinner, breakfast, and reception will be provided in Kathmandu.

Responsible Travel and use of Transportation in the Mera Peak Climb journey

Considering the well-being of the environment whether natural or artificial is the best way to conduct responsible travel. Likewise, airplanes will be used generally to connect with Lukla. However, Helicopters can also be used if you are planning luxurious travel.
