After you arrival in Kathmandu airport, our delegate with our office vehicle will be waiting. After you are moved to the inn, a notice will be forwarded about the pre-trek preparation on the trekking program. A delightful Nepali supper will be served in the afternoon as a part of Welcome Dinner.

Heading out by transport to Syabru Besi, it takes around 9 hours to reach which gives a tremendous sight to the delightful Syabru Besi. Going through Dhunche, we head north out of Kathmandu passing through the beautiful slopes of Syabru Besi. We will be encased by the grand sights of the green slopes, porches, Langtang Himal, and Ganesh Himal planning for our night stay in Syabru Besi.

It takes around 5 hrs to reach the Lama Hotel where first and foremost we go through the Bhote Koshi River following the Langtang Khola. Out from the Langtang town, today we will head towards the Kyanjin Gompa and it takes around 3 hrs to reach there. From the Kyangjing Gompa, we find a workable pace wonderful sight of the Langtang Mountain go which involve the Langtang Lirung, Naya Khang, Ghanjala Himal, and so on. We will remain on a medium-term at the settlement.

Today, we will be using the day for ascending of Tseko Ri at an altitude of 4844 meters. This will be our second day used for the acclimatization purpose. This hike to Tseko Ri rewards us with the amazing scenario of the Langtang Himalayas. Enjoying the incredible views of snow-capped mountain peaks like Yala Peak, 5,510 meters, Shisha Pangma, 8,013 meters, and many other peaks, we will be heading back to Kyanjin Gompa.

From Kyanjin Gompa, we will finally be heading towards Baden Powell Peak Base Camp which is situated at an elevation of 4987 meters. It is likely to take us about six hours to reach there. We will be making our way through the beautiful forest filled with rhododendrons. Various rocky trails are certain to fall on the way. We will be staying overnight on our camp at Baden Powell Peak Base Camp.

On the fifth day of the trek, we will be hiking around the small peak situated at an elevation of 4500 meters. We will be encountering the jaw-dropping views of the sunrise over the Himalayas and get the proper view of the incredible Langtang valley. We will be moving past the beautiful monastery of Kyanjin Gompa and the rest of the time, we will be resting for acclimatization purposes. We will be staying overnight here at Kyanji Gompa surrounded by majestic peaks like LangtangRi, 7,205m, Dorje Lakpa, 6,966m, and many more.

On the 8th day, we summit the Baden Powell Peak with an early morning endeavor and reach an elevation of 5,825 meters, and then on the same day, we will get back to the Base Camp and stay there for the night’s rest.

After an early breakfast, we then retrace our way back to the Kyangjing Gompa as we then descend to the spectacular sight of the peaks like the Shisapnagma, Langtang, Langshisha Ri, and the Lirung where we will stay for an overnight here.

Day tenth marches our steps towards Lama Hotel from Kyangjin Gompa after an early morning tasty breakfast. Situated at 2,420 meters of altitude, Lama Hotel is going to be the perfect destination for today’s rest and relaxation.

Experience required for climbing Baden Powell Peak

The climber should be physically fit and experience of mountain walking is required for the Baden Powel Climbing. To climb every peak is challenging so one should not only be prepared physically but also should be prepared mentally and should be ready to face any difficulties that may occur while climbing.

Pre-Trip Meeting as well as Insurance requirement for Baden Powell Peak Climb

Prior to starting our trip to the Baden Powel Climbing., we hold a meeting where we all will gather and respond to every question and confusion related to the trip. An introduction will be also done so that we will be comfortable during the trip. In order to join Baden Powell Peak Climbing, you must be fully insured with medical, and emergency rescue evacuations including trip cancellation insurance.

An ordinary day on the Baden Powell Peak Climbing Trip

Our regular day starts with morning coffee or tea at 6.30 am which will be brought by your Sherpa. After tea, you will have breakfast and pack your bags to go on hiking. Our trekking hours at starting will be from three hours to four hours and we will stop for lunch which will be for an hour. After lunch, we will continue our trekking for another two to three hours. Our trekking will be only five to eight hours a day, we won’t exaggerate ourselves. We will stay in a lodge for dinner and spend our night with wonderful village people.

Accommodation and meals in the Baden Powell Peak Climb Route

While at the Baden Powel Climbing, one should not expect a good lodge because there are no good lodges due to the remoteness and only simple family lodges are available in the area. Nepal Nomad also tries its best to manage simplistic family-run lodges, with a large sociable central dining area and a cozy chimney-burning fire. Despite the absence of services, these lodges unquestionably have a rural appeal, most are honored with terrific perspectives, and being family-run tasks, they offer an extraordinary understanding of the day-by-day life of the Mountain people. Likewise, for meals, you will be provided with three servings, three times a day on the Baden Powell Peak Climb Route.
