This trekking path gives a variety of landscapes, shifting from lush green rhododendron forests into the upper Himalayan area, flaunting splendid views of mountains. Cultural Ambiance and Historical Background of the Helambu

This adventurous 6 day Ama Yangri trek in Helambu, Nepal, is priced from of USD 900 per participant for fully independent travellers (FITs), less so if group travel.
The first day will take the trekkers from Kathmandu through to the scenic village of Timbu, where they will spend the first night. The second day's trek runs through Tarkeghyang village. The third calls for making it to Ama Yangri Base Camp and ascending Ama Yangri (3771m). Next, trekkers will make their way to Sermathang, where the trek will conclude.
While scaling the lofty heights of Ama Yangri, trekkers will gracefully navigate their way through beautifully designed sailing tracks and hiking passages that provide panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas. On Day 6, you will drive back to Kathmandu via jeep or bus.

Meet after passing immigration to come out to the terminal hall to meet a Third Rock Adventures representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. Unpack your bags and sort out documents for your journey. You may want to buy or rent some of the necessary trekking gear. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, 3 hours’ drive (60 km) from Kathmandu to Timbu via Melamchi Helambu road. Once, set for the next day and explore the village at your leisure. Overnight in Timbu.

A light breakfast and today you will start your trek to Tarke Gyang; a lovely village at the head of the Helambu valley. Treks go through a beautiful forest, finding scenery of hills and scattered villages. Arrive in Tarke Gyang after 4-5 hours of trekking; Tarke Gyang, a picturesque Buddhist village known as a gateway to Ama Yangri peak. Overnight in Tarke Gyang.
    Trek from Tarke Gyang to Ama Yangri Base Camp, approximately 5-6 hours. The trail offers incredible views and convergence through beautiful landscapes, quaint villages, and green forests with many stumps and careful landscaping. Once at the Base Camp, stay for a while and take in the amazing surroundings; the mighty Ama Yangri Peak and other mountains could be viewed from this vantage point. Allow yourself to relish the beauty surrounding you and prepare for the move now. At the Ama Yangri Base Camp, overnight accommodation.
      Begin an early morning hike to the Ama Yangri Peak (3,800m) to take in breathtaking 360-degree views of the Himalayas. Both the trek back to base camp and the striking scenery are optional. Following this, spend your remaining time visiting Sherma Thang; explore the scenic area and a quiet scenery. For the night, overnight stay at Sherma Thang while enjoying the local culture and environment.
        Drive from Sherma Thang to Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) in 6 to 7 hours in a private automobile. On arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.
